For more than a century, American Red Cross has been saving lives with health and safety education programs. Last year alone, nearly 7,000 people were trained in the
Darien and Stamford communities.
Red Cross Health and Safety training includes first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), AED (automated external defibrillation) to swimming and life guarding; HIV/AIDS education and
care giving programs such as Babysitter’s Training.
The Darien/Stamford Chapter's programs help people live safer and healthier lives. We constantly strive to respond to the health and safety concerns of
our community at home, in school and in the workplace. Today’s innovative programs also include teaching lay persons and professionals how to use automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to save victims of sudden cardiac arrest.
